That Mad Woman: a feminist and gender equality page that supports and amplifies oppressed voices

That Mad Woman has gained 70K followers in less than a year and receive multiple “thank you’s” from women daily.

 

With a lack of understanding of gender equality in Thailand, That Mad Woman produces informative yet creative and empathetic content to raise awareness of gender equality rights and issues for Thai people. We empower all genders to know their own values, and we believe that through having awareness and open-mindedness, a change can happen.

The effort and impact that we're making are acknowledged nationwide. That Mad Woman has achieved a Top Five Finalist Award in the Change Maker of Thailand Zocial Awards 2022.

    On December 26th, 2021, Melada attended a physical, empowering event, Fuel Your Fem, hosted by YSEALI of the US Embassy, to discuss problems, exchange experiences, and inspire hope for Thais.

THAT MAD WOMAN: Reminder Stickers

THAT MAD WOMAN’S Reminder Stickers are empowering and empathic stickers to remind people of their self-worth and encourage self-love. It comes in two designs: ‘‘Note to self’ and ‘Stay Woke.’ The revenues are donated to SHero Thailand, an organization about violence, SangSan NGO, an organization of Ethnic minority and Indigenous LGBTQ feminists, and Betong Hospital at Yala Province to subsidize it in time of COVID.

That Mad Podcast

That Mad Podcast is a space where controversial issues are encouraged to be openly and rationally discussed, especially including well-informed guest speakers and additional input from our audiences. In believing that each social issue is significantly important, establishing a safe space for discussion is a crucial first step toward achieving sustainable change.

Melada led the content team, developing the content direction and questionnaires for each episode, recruiting guest speakers and hosts, and contacting powerful media KOLs and influencers.
